WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

Yoga (Warrior Body Movement) – Every Tuesday lunchtime, 12:00pm and Thursday, 6:00pm – 1hr Yoga sessions for people of all skill levels. Open for adults and children of all ages

Everyone is welcome to attend these FREE sessions each week, just meet at the Centre 10 minutes beforehand. No RSVP necessary

Music – Every Thursday, 4:00pm – 1hr music session, for people of all skill levels. Some equipment is available (drums, guitar, PA with karaoke)

Everyone is welcome to attend these FREE sessions each week, just meet at the Centre . No RSVP necessary and feel free to bring your own instrument

Coffee Catch Up – Every Tuesday, 10:00am – 12:00pm – Connect with Soldier On staff and invited specialists to learn more about what services and assistance is available to you

Everyone is welcome to attend these FREE sessions each week, feel free to bring a plate to share if you desire. No RSVP necessary

 

ABOUT

Launched in February 2014, the Canberra Reintegration and Recovery Centre, in memory of fallen soldier Private Robert Poate, offers on-the-ground support for wounded in the ACT.

The centre also offers access to all of Soldier On’s programs, including

    • drop-in sessions;
    • gym equipment;
    • library (donations welcome);
    • play centre for small children (under parent supervision) and playstation;
    • coffee catch-ups;
    • in-house psychological support;
    • music equipment and sessions;
    • computer equipment for studying courses;
    • access to adventurous activities;
    • scheduled face to face training and information sessions;
    • workshops; and
    • community and volunteer activities.
